Valeo Friction Materials India was setup in 1997 with a joint venture between Anand Automotive Systems and Valeo of France to manufacture of non-asbestos, solvent and lead-free clutch facings with latest Valeo Technology. With its manufacturing facility located at Chennai, the Company is a supplier to OEMs in the passenger vehicle, tractor and heavy commercial segments.
